Privacy & Cookie Notice

This page explains, in plain English, what personal data visionxy7.com collects, why, and what control you have over it.

Who we are

VisionXY7 Ltd (company number 16908252), 42 Rillington Gardens, Emerson Valley, Milton Keynes, MK4 2ED, United Kingdom, is the data controller for personal data collected through www.visionxy7.com. Contact us about anything in this notice at hello@visionxy7.com.

This notice covers the website as a whole. The free AI Readiness and ISO/IEC 42001 assessments have their own, more detailed notice: Assessment Privacy Notice.

Email updates (subscription)

If you choose to subscribe, we email you when we publish a new article or service. That is the only thing we use your address for.

  • What we keep: your email address, the language you signed up in, and a record of your consent — the wording you agreed to, its version, the date and time, the page and the IP address you used, and when you confirmed.
  • Lawful basis: your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a); regulation 22 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations). The box is never pre-ticked, and nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link we email you (double opt-in).
  • How long: for as long as you stay subscribed. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted automatically after 7 days.
  • Leaving: every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing deletes your record. We keep only an irreversible one-way code (a hash) of your address, so that it can never be emailed again by mistake.
  • Who handles it: the list is stored on our own web hosting account and the emails are sent from our own server. We do not use a mailing-list company, and we never sell or share your address.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how people find and use the site. It only runs if you click “Accept analytics” in the banner. If you reject, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Google may process analytics data outside the UK. Google LLC takes part in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. Google’s own notice: policies.google.com/privacy.

The site also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore connects to Google’s servers, which see your IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies.

Website assistant (chat)

If you type into the chat assistant on the homepage, your message and the conversation so far are sent to Anthropic, the provider of the AI model that writes the replies, and returned to your browser. We do not ask for your name or contact details there, and we ask you not to share sensitive information. To prevent abuse, the server keeps a short-lived counter per IP address (stored as a code, not the address itself), which is cleared out after a few hours. Conversations themselves are not stored on our server. Anthropic’s privacy policy: anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

Contact forms, WhatsApp and email

When you send the discovery-call form or a document request, your details and message go to our server. We email them to hello@visionxy7.com, send you a short acknowledgement, and keep a record of the enquiry. After you send the discovery-call form you can also choose to continue on WhatsApp; nothing is shared on WhatsApp until you press send there. Our only WhatsApp number is +44 7757 722257.

We use enquiries, and messages you send us by WhatsApp or email, only to reply to you and arrange the call, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We keep them for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together. Emails from our website are sent through our Microsoft 365 account.

Free assessments

When you complete the AI Readiness Assessment or the ISO/IEC 42001 Quick Check, we use your answers and contact details, with your consent, to calculate your result, email you the report with VisionXY7 in copy, and contact you about it. Scores are calculated from your answers by our own website; no AI model is used. We keep these records on the same basis and for the same period as enquiries.

Careers: applications, fit check and opportunity brief

Applications. When you apply to the AI Growth Associate Programme, we use your details, with your consent, to assess your application and to send you the training pack. The pack is a personal link that works for 90 days; we note when a guide is opened so we can support you. If you are not selected, we delete your application after 6 months.

Programme emails. If you join the programme, we send you short programme emails from hello@visionxy7.com, with Dr Seify in copy. Their pace and content are matched to the career stage and weekly hours you gave us, and you can change the pace, pause or leave at any time from any of those emails. The emails are prepared with the help of an AI assistant (Anthropic) and read personally by Dr Seify. Our automation service (n8n) keeps a simple record of your progress and your answers, such as clicking “On track”, so we can support you. This record is kept with your application and deleted on the same schedule.

Fit check. Your answers are scored by our website and the report is emailed to you with VisionXY7 in copy. We keep it for up to 6 months to assess and prepare candidates, unless you join the programme.

Opportunity brief. What you write about an organisation is sent to Anthropic, the provider of the AI model that drafts the brief, and the brief is emailed to you with VisionXY7 in copy. Please do not include personal data about individuals or confidential information. We keep a copy for up to 12 months to manage the opportunity.

Server logs

Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical request data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) to keep the service secure and working. These logs are kept for a short period set by the host and are not used to identify you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or give it to you in a portable format. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what we did before. Email hello@visionxy7.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page if anything changes. If a change affects how we use your email address, we will tell subscribers before it takes effect. Last updated: 27 October 2026.
